The challenge starts today, Friday, September 29th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, October 7th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is what I created using Mark Mummy. 

Isn't he just the cutest!! It reminded me of when I would have or go to sleep overs as a kid. We would play mummy, which was having a race to see who could wrap someone up in toilet paper quicker! I cut the image using my Scan n Cut. I can't remember where I picked up the die set but I was thrilled to finally be able to use it! I love the pumpkin border it pierces out.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for Dunkin Donuts Cold Brew coffee..lol! I know it's a crazy one, but I've really been enjoying it and am hoping that they continue it all winter long and don't make it just a "summer thing". A girl has to have her caffeine :)

Mother's Day

So I am just getting around to scrapping Mother's Day from last year. (And somehow the paper and letters look funny when photographed on that darn scrap easel again...I'll get something better figured out for next time!). Somehow I managed to NOT get a picture of any of us at lunch for Mother's Day...only the dog sitting under the table at my mom's feet and the plant we gave her. She loved her gardening so we always got her a nice plant. Last year my brother was in charge of picking it out.

He definitely knew who snuck him scraps at the table...lol! And every year the men at church put on a delicious breakfast for all the ladies at the church. Mom always enjoyed that. So here she is with a few of her friends enjoying the start of her day.

Simply Saturday

Today I am sharing a layout using an overlay I purchased at the Scrapbook Expo last year when it came to town. Unforunately I didn't get a chance to go to this year's Expo...but I'm already looking forward to next year!

There is a nice little winery not too far from where I live and they were running a fundraiser for March of Dimes. So a group of us from The Franklin Woman's Clube went together and we got to sample wine for a great cause!

Fun~day Friday #157

Our team this week is Team B. Our sponsor this week are Little Blue Button Stamps and Sami Stamps. And our theme this week is Anything Goes...my favorite!!

The challenge starts today, Friday, September 23rd at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, September 30th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is what I created using LBBS' Coffee Love.

I think there is nothing better than spending time with friends...and drinking coffee while doing so! So I plan to take photos of me and my friends when we get together for coffee to catch up. (And for those of you that don't drink coffee, you're  not off the "photo hook"...tea and hot chocolate count!). I really want to start scrappin' more of the day-to-day things in life that really make life so great. And there were a number of cute sayings that came with Coffee Love but I didn't get the setting right on my Scan n Cut so they didn't come out for this layout. I am still on a learning curve with that! But the coffee girl, the cup and the beans (and a few other images I didn't use) cut wonderfully.

Bad to the Bone

My little man just loves his bully sticks! I'm not sure there is much in life that makes him happier than a fresh bully stick...lol!

I am trying to be sure I scrap the everyday things that are a part of life. I hope you are too! It's those everyday moments that are so precious and I have found that I tend to take them for granted.
