Funday Friday #77

This week has just flown by! I'm hoping that a new month will bring new weather - and some warm sunshine!

So here are the details for this week's challenge: Our sponsors are Fitztown and Bugaboo. The challenge starts Friday, February 27th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, March 6th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And our theme is Anything Goes! My project this week includes the 4 Square Believe digi from Bugabo. Don't be afraid to incorporate your digis into more than just a card - the possibilities are endless!

So if you noticed, I said "project", not "creation"...this layout is not my design. I am taking a Faithbooking Class at Joys of Life Scrapbook Store in Mechanicsburg, PA and incorporated my digi this week. I just love this 4 Square Believe digi and wanted it to be a part of a layout from this class. The theme for this group of classes is "Living in Jesus" and the digi is a perfect fit. I colored the digi with my Copics and then separated the four squares and ran my black marker around the edges to cover up the white.
I do have to add pictures to the layout still but I want to finish the Bible study that goes with it. One of the disadvantages of not living so close, is missing out in the fellowship of the class as they put together their layouts and discuss the pages together. I am hoping that by doing the Faithbooking class I will also get better in my study time.

I am anxious to see what everyone creates for this week's Funday Friday! Please make sure to stop by my DT sister's blogs to check out what they made for this challenge, I know you'll love it!

Funday Friday Gift Cards!

Wow I can't believe we are at the middle of February already! Last week the month was dragging for me and now I feel like it's just flying by.

So here are the details for this week's challenge: Our sponsors are Little Blue Button Stamps and Bugaboo. The challenge starts Friday, February 20th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, February 27th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And our theme is a gift card holder. My creation for this week was made using Bugaboo digi High Heel Silouhette.

I really had no clue what I was going to do with this digi when I picked it out...I just loved it and wanted to use it! It's hard to see in the photo (I think I need to take a photography class...lol!) but the image is popped up with an identical image underneath it. The image is black and white and I colored it in with my COPICs. The stamps are 3 Twenty from the Simple Sentiments and Background Builders sets. So you're probably thinking...this doesn't look like a gift card holder...but the inside does!

Yes, that's my Starbucks Gold Card in there. Some things just fit with everything :)  I used a Viva Paper Pen to pop up the centers of the little bursts to give the card a little dimension. I haven't put a sentiment on the inside yet as I'm not sure who I want to give the card to yet. I am thinking my brother's oldest daughter who is a real shopper. She can wear those high heels too, unlike her aunt who is a bit clumsy.

It's Valentines for Funday Friday

Wow I can't believe we are at the middle of February already! Last week the month was dragging for me and now I feel like it's just flying by.

So here are the details for this week's challenge: Our sponsors are A Day for Daisies (ADFD) and it starts Friday, February 13th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, February 20th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And our theme is Valentines Day. My creation for this week was made using their Love Hearts Digi. I am excited that ADFD is one of our sponsors this year - they have great stamps so pleeeeeease be sure to check them out!

I found an idea on Pinterest that was similar to this. Unfortunately I can't find the link again but my layout is a bit different anyway...lol! I used some Stampin' Up! paper from my stash and my custom cutting system to make the hearts. I colored in the hearts with my COPICs. And I just learned that the candy heart people (Necco I think...) change the messages each year! I don't like candy hearts but I think I might have to buy a package every year now just to see what they say. I heard they will have Pugs n kittens, a mustache and even emoticons...how fun is that! Yes, it's the little things in life that amuse me.

Please make sure to stop by my DT sister's blogs to check out what they made for this challenge, I know you'll love it!

Funday Friday #78

I hope everyone has been keeping warm! We haven't had a lot of snow here - we've been fortunate! But we are in for another few inches this weekend. I think I would rather have one big snow storm then all this inch or two, here or there. It's not enough to have any fun with!

So here are the details for this week's challenge: Our sponsors are LBBS and Kenny K and it starts Friday, February 6th 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, February 13th 6:00 PM (eastern time). And our theme is shaped cards. My creation for this week was made using Kenny K's Present Surprise...
 .
I also decided to keep using things in my stash that I haven't touched in a long time. I pulled out my Liquid Pearls and used that on the present dots. And when it dried I didn't like the look. So then I decided to add a little clear Stickles on top of the Liquid Pearls....and it scans horribly! It looks a little better but I just couldn't get a good picture of it.

For the inside I stacked the leftover pieces from the front to create a cute coordinating inside. I decided to leave the inside blank so I can hand write a birthday message.
