Fun~day Friday #161

Our team this week is Team B. Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish. And our theme is ...Anything Goes!
The challenge starts today, Friday, October 21st at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, October 28th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is what I created using Apple Harvest. 
 

I used my Scan n Cut to cut out the image shape and my COPICs to color in the image. I find I like coloring the image in before I cut it out best. And the paper is from a card kit I had from years ago. And apple picking is one of my favorite things! I was hoping to go this year but time has gotten away from me and I don't think I'll be able to. But I did color and cut a 2nd image because I want to use it on an apple picking layout...which may not happen until next Fall so that image is ready and in my Scrap Rack.

Fun~day Friday #158

Our team this week is Team A. Our sponsors this week are Robyn's Fetish and Bugaboo.  And our theme is ...Use your dies and cutting machines...with paper piercing!
The challenge starts today, Friday, September 29th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, October 7th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is what I created using Mark Mummy. 
Isn't he just the cutest!! It reminded me of when I would have or go to sleep overs as a kid. We would play mummy, which was having a race to see who could wrap someone up in toilet paper quicker! I cut the image using my Scan n Cut. I can't remember where I picked up the die set but I was thrilled to finally be able to use it! I love the pumpkin border it pierces out.

Fun~day Friday #147

Our team this week is Team B. Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish. And our theme this week is a 321 Challenge - 3 Colors, 2 Embellis, 1 Technique!
The challenge starts today, Friday, July 15th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, July 22nd at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is the card I created using Sally & Her Umbrella.  


My three colors are yellow, blue and pink. My two embellis are the seashell and star fish. I think it's good I could only put on two...I might have gotten carried away with adding them! And my technique is the cloud embossing. I'm not sure what occassion I want to use this for so I haven't added any sentiments yet. It might end up being a Thank You for a friend who lives down south.

Fun~day Friday #133

Since the DT for Jo's Scrap Shack has expanded, we are now broken into two teams. Our Team this week is Team B. Our sponsor this week are Robyn's Fetish and Bugaboo and our theme is Anything Goes!
The challenge starts Friday, April 8th at12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, April 15th 6:00 PM (eastern time). Here is what I created using Birdie's Nest from Robyn's Fetish.
This was the perfect digi for me. We have a bird that comes to nest every year in this bush and each morning my mom is awoken to the bird singing...which couldn't make her happier! It really is about the simple pleasures in life. This one is going into my mom's scrapbook. She likes a simple layout that just accents the photo. I used my SU colored pencils and the reitred Clementine paper from CTMH.
