Here is what I created for this week's challenge using Chef:

I recently took an embossing technique class at Joys of Life Scrapbook Store to get a refresher on all the ways to use my Big Shot and this step card is one we did and I just couldn't resist adding this adorable digi to it. You can't really see it in the picture but the whole card front was embossed after adding the patterned paper and it looks super cute up close.

Fun~day Friday #160

Our team this week is Team A. Our sponsor this week is Kenny K. And our theme is ...Recycled Scraps!

The challenge starts today, Friday, October 14th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, October 21st at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is what I created using Angel Seraphina. 

When I saw this image I knew right away the type of layout it would be for - a journaling page in my book about me to record those times when I know God has brought angels into my life! Now to do all the journaling, which I am sure will bring many tears of joy. 

I colored the image using my Kaiser Craft Glitter Pens. If you haven't use these pens...they are awesome!! They are so smooth. I used them for the first time with my Bible journaling and am hooked. Then I used my Scan n Cut to cut out the colored image (I think I'm getting the hang of it...lol!). My layered circles are all scraps and even the ivory star pendant is "recycled". The pendant was in my mom's jewelry box and when I saw it I knew I wanted to include it in my scrapbooking as a memory of her. And of course, I know she is one of the angels watching over me!
