Thanks so much for stopping by to help us celebrate 4 years of crafting fun at Jo's Scrap Shack!!!
You should have arrived at my blog from my dear DT friend Tina's blog. Here is what I created for the Blog Hop.
I made a little holder to keep my cards in. I believe I first saw this on a Stampin' Up blog. I recreated it using one of my favorite Close to My Heart paper packs. I am trying to use my own handwriting a little more (I am sooooo bad at journaling in my scrapbooks...) so I used Kirarina WiNK to write the category names. My plan was to use grommets on the sides where I put the ribbon through but my Crop A Dile broke!?! So instead I used a piece of tape to make the threading easier.
I didn't think to check the number of folds and holes to make sure my ribbon ended up on the outside for both ends when creating the template...oops! But with everything going on this week (death in the family) I don't have time to take it apart and redo it....so I just choose a hole in the center to skip. And you really can't tell once it's completed.

Joyce this is a GREAT idea to hold your card stash in!!! I LOVE this! The papers are so pretty!!! Love the hot air balloons and birds....:) You did a great job improvising with a broken cropadile and love the idea of using tape to help thread! And yes, please use your journaling more often! You will now see just how important handwriting is to a loved one, once you start to see your loved ones handwriting now that she passed on..... our handwriting means so very much.... and you did a great job with this project! Great card holder! Thank you so much for being a special part of my blogaversary celebration again this year! It truly means so much to me that you are apart of it!
