I can't believe the year is almost gone already. It's been a tough year for so many people that I know and I know I am looking forward to a new year and new beginnings.

Fun~day Friday #154

Our team this week is Team A. Our sponsor this week is the Scrappers Delight. And our theme this week is Anything Goes...whoo hooo!!
The challenge starts today, Friday, September 2nd at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, September 9th at 6:00 PM (eastern time)...yikes I can't believe it's September already!! And here is what I created using Xmas Room 1.
I colored it in using my COPICs and added some stickles for some sparkle. The paper is retired CM paper. I add my holiday cards to my scrapbook album and like to do a cover page for the cards...so this is it. I hope you like it. It was really a lot of fun to color in.

Fun~day Friday #148

Our team this week is Team A. Our sponsor this week is Scrappers Delight. And our theme this week is a Challenge - Coral, Tan and Aqua!
The challenge starts today, Friday, July 22nd at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, July 29th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is what I created using Under the Sea.  
It's a little hard to see in the photo but the chest is tan and the seashell is a light coral with a tan (liquid) pearl in the center, And of course the background paper is a beautiful aqua...and almost the last of my stash of this line :(   I really had so much fun with this layout and challenge!! I am going to be giving this page to my one sister. She and my BIL brought my mom down to see me when I was living in Florida and we went to go visit my mom's cousins and got a nice picture before her cousin's wife passed away. I figure my sister will want to journal her memories so I left the journaling box blank.

Fun~day Friday #135

The challenge starts Friday, April 22nd at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, April 29th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And this is what I created using Nerissa Mermaid!
My niece was visiting her mom and dad in Florida and having a great time. And yes, my sister really does have a mermaid painted as the background to her hot tub! When I saw the picture I just knew I had to use this digi for a layout.
