SMASH kit

I just wanted to quickly share part of a SMASH kit I finally finished putting together. I have a SMASH book...it has a lot of beautiful pages and sadly no photos or journaling. I need to start start SMASHing. One of the great things about kits is I often have layouts that I wouldn't normally put together myself. All of my SMASH kits are from Joys of Life Scrapbooking in Mechanicsburg, PA.
If you're in the area, it's a fabulous place to check out. If you don't live local she ships also! You can view her calendar here. Even better, you can sign up for her newsletter here and get updates with more information on the classes than what the website shows.

Sunburst

I was recently at a weekend crop and wanted to share one of the pages I finally put together. I had a Project Recipe kit from Creative Memories that I had been putting off doing. One of the nice things about the weekends is being able to get caught up on my kits, no matter how long it takes me. Here is my sunburst page that I cut by hand. Somehow I ended up with more pieces cut than I needed and didn't get them all cut on the correct sides with the angles. I used one package of patterned paper that was double sided to make this page (I forget the name of the paper pack but anything with donuts on it is good!). Anyway I made it all coordinate and decided next time I will use the Sunburst recipe template to make it easier! I struggled but got it done :)

Baby Album - Second Half

Thanks for taking the time to visit again! Here are a few more photos of the baby album I made for my coworker. Again, sorry the photos aren't good, but as I mentioned previously I forgot to take the photos prior to putting everything into the album.

Baby Album - First Half

I know I've been quiet, but I've been working on a baby album for a fellow coworker. I wanted to share some of the pages I made. Sorry the photos aren't better but I completely forgot to take photos before I put it all into the protectors and album. I didn't have time to take everything out before before leaving for work once I realized this.

Creative Memories

I know I have been quiet (yet again) but have had a lot of things going on. One thing I wanted to share was that I recently joined Creative Memories as an adviser! I was first introduced to CM back in 2002 when I was invited to a party by a woman I worked with, Ines. Needless to say I was hooked and Ines became a dear friend. We all know that scrapbooking and crafting has introduced us to our best friends! I have stuck with CM over the years and even signed up as an adviser once before, but I was my only customer...lol! So my plan is to occasionally share with you some of the great stuff that CM comes out with.

When you are in need of a new 12 inch trimmer you definitely want to check out the new one by CM!
And yes, it's that great that it has sold out twice since being introduced! If you'd like to take a peak at it, just click here for a short video. I have to say that this is the best trimmer I have EVER used! And the blades are the easiest things to change and store. They have five blades and they store in the bottom and there is space for 12 blades so I am sure that some great new ones will be coming out!

Thanks so much for stopping by ~ have a blessed day!

I love this image and have plans for these cards already. I was planning to make four cards but apparently I printed on non COPIC paper so when I started to color the colors ran 😱  So I grabbed my Prisma color pencils and got to work. And when I finished I sorted out my COPIC paper from my non COPIC paper 😉
