Oh I have to apologize to everyone! I had my post ready to go and forgot to actually post it! I left it as a draft....so sorry!

I used an embossing folder to give the card the texture then used a nested dies to cut the center out and a frame for the bunny so she looks like she sitting in the tree. I love the little chicks that are peaking out behind her...the is probably the main reason I picked this digi!

Tasty Tuesday

One of the things I love about the warm weather is all the fresh fruit! And I have to admit, it tastes even better for some reason when someone else cuts it up...lol! But I have been enjoying all the delicious strawberries and blueberries that have started to go on sale along with the cantalope and pineapple. And when I have friends over I love to serve this fresh fruit. It's not only delicious but all the colors also make the table look pretty.

And here is a great way to pretty-up the table display using things you already have:

  

Summertime entertaining doesn't need to be complicated. And I have to admit, I am loving putting the new TS Blueberry Acai Vinaigrette on my fruit! 

 As a friend of mine put it....she is ready to do shots of this vinaigrette it is so tasty!! There is also a Strawberry and a Mango Vinaigrette which are awesome too, but the Blueberry is my favorite. 

So if you want to add a little "somethin' somethin'" to your fruit (or ice cream!) look no further!

Fun~day Friday is "Sketchy"

I don't know about where you live, but in Jersey the weather has been absolutely beautiful this week! I've had the windows open at home and in the car...and gone for ice cream, my favorite warm weather treat.

It's cute isn't it! And here is my project using this sketch...

I used the Vintage Shoes digi from LBBS. It's my first time using a pre-colored digi. It makes creating a project super easy! I had intended to color the Celebrate YOU! part of the sentiment with a burgundy marker. But I started coloring with the brown and just forgot to stop and stamped the sentiment. But the 3Twenty Stamps look great in either color :)

Here is how the digi looks and you just resize it like any other digi:

Tasty Tuesday

Well I am definitely enjoying my weekend breakfasts. On the weekends I like to make something like french toast, pancakes, etc. Here is some delicious Chocolate Chip Pancakes I made, which are actually gluten free.

You couldn't tell by their taste they were gluten free! The pancakes are part of the TS Gluten Free line. And I put the new Blackberry Syrup on them, which is also part of the TS eatwell line. As a consultant I have the tough job of "product research"...taste testing all the new products...tough job huh...lol! Yes, I love product research. The Blackberry Syrup is thick and not runny...I can't wait to try it on other things.

Funday Friday - Floral & Butterflies

I feel like Spring has finally sprung here!! Even though we are due for rain today and tomorrow the weather is finally warming up. I just love Spring and the warm weather it brings. I love having my coffee outside in the morning and having the windows and slider door open - it's so refreshing and invigorating for me. 

So here are the details for this week's challenge: Our sponsor is A Day for Daisy's and Di's Digi's. The challenge starts Friday, April 10th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, April 17th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And our theme is Floral and Butterflies - so let's see you create something with flowers or butterflies...or both! Here is my project for this week. 

I used the Cherry Blossom digi from ADFD and the sentiment is from 3Twenty. And the butterflies are popped up with small pieces of foam squares. I kept it really simple this week since I broke a tooth on Wednesday :(  While I'm not in serious pain, it's just uncomfortable. But today I get the tooth pulled to start the implant process...yeah me! But back to the card. I think this shows just how beautiful "simple" can be.

Tasty Tuesday

Tastefully Simple has an amazing new line  - TS eatwell. It is helping me make health eating so much easier...and keeping it all tasty. Here's a delicious salad I had at work using the Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.

I know this is going to sound crazy...but it doesn't have what I consider a "balsamic" taste. It's a robust fruity taste and made my salad perfect. Of course I topped it with a little Feta cheese. For me, no salad is complete without cheese, sad by true...lol!

Funday Friday has exciting news!

I used the free digi they had recently MM Sweet and she was designed by Olga Ishenko. Isn't she adorable? As I mentioned before, I am doing a book about me and this is going into that book. I still have to journal which I think will be about a time when I felt free...free to be me, to do what I wanted, not having to worry about anyone else.Here's a close up of the digis.

I'm curious, is anyone else creating a book about them? I don't have kids so hopefully my nieces will be interested in them at some point, or maybe even their kids. But if I had kids I would think it would be a wonderful family heirloom to hand down.
