Isn't she just one of the cutest images! I choose a pre colored image so I could easily make a few. And I just realized that somehow I have inverted my image since the ice cream cone embellishments are on the right side of the actual cards...hmmm...user error somewhere...LOL~

Here is what I created for this week's challenge using The Cutting Cafe's Mason Shaped Jar:

This is a fabulous cutting file with lots of options to fill the jar. But I chose to make another embellishment using some flowers I purchased from Joys of Life Scrapbook Store. One thing that's really hard to see in the photo is I cut out the center of the jar and put a piece of vellum behind it. I also colored in about 3/4 of the vellum to create water in the jar.

Here is what I created for this week's challenge using Easter Crew:

I colored in the egg and just a little bit of the chicks using my COPICs and then added some blue Perlen Pen to create the pearls around the edges of the egg and in the center of the butterflies. I am giving the cards to my niece's step daughters in their Easter baskets (I made two...one had a coffee accident so I need to make another!) and then will also use the images to embellish the scrapbook page to go with the pictures.

Here are two embellishments I created for this week's challenge
using precolored cupcakes from Limited Run:

They have an AMAZING selection of cupcake images!! Both colored and precolored. I choose precolored because of my move. I have to admit, having so much of my craft stuff packed up, my room looks amazing and huge but I am getting frustrated when I craft...I should have kept a few things out still.

But my goal is to make some of my own embellishments this year and I have started this week. For the first one I ruffled washi tape around the edges, which was a lot of sticky fun :)  Who knew washi tape could be so sticky! The second is a ruffle flower I purchased at Joys of Life Scrapbook Store this week. I was thinking a shimmer spray on the flower would have been pretty, but I can always put a mask over my cupcake and add that later (when I find it!).
