Cookie Exchange Complete!

So we did our cookie exchange at church on Friday night and had a great time! Here are the pictures of all us ladies filling the cookie tins to give away. It really is a good feeling each year to participate in this "exchange."

The tins are all lined up and ready to fill!

We all just grab a tin and go down the line filling it with all the goodies. Most of the cookies are homemade. We have some members who are in their 80s who still help out with everything too! And even if members can't come physically, many send cookies so the kids have a nice selection.

 And then a few of the ladies tie the baggies inside the tin with ribbon and pack them for delivery.

And then afterwards we have some fellowship time which is always nice.

Fun~day Friday

I can't believe we are at end of the year already...yikes! I hope everyone has wonderful plans for the holidays, no matter what you celebrate. And I pray everyone has a healthy and happy 2016!

So here are the details for this week's challenge - the last challenge for 2015! Our sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps. I used the Holiday Miss Lilly digi to close out the year.

I made mine to go with cookies for a cookie exchange I have tonight at church. It's not a real "exchange". Every year we fill decorated (and cleaned out!) coffee tins with wrapping paper and fill them with cookies. The tins are then delivered to local childrens' charities. One is a home for displaced kids...kids that have done nothing wrong, but had to be removed from their home for their own safety. I really enjoy making the tins for these kids. I hope it reminds them that they are not forgotten and that there are people that care.

I used the Stella Globe digi. How fun is she! I just love the Stella line of digis.

I have to apologize for my camera...I don't know what's going on these past two weeks but I can't get any clear photos from it :(  But here's a close up of the digi.

Since the pictures are from Christmas Eve I thought the snow globe would be perfect for it. It was an evening spent with good food and even better friends!

I used the Christmas Fireplace digi this week to create a layout and colored it in with my pencils. 

 And the reason I choose it was it matched my Christmas card from last year perfectly!

My card is right under the "2014". Each year I put my Christmas cards at the back of my album and these are the first two pages for last year. I put the cards in using the corners so if I do want to take them out I can. I know they bring me some Christmas Joy...I hope your holiday cards bring you Joy too!
