Fun~day Friday

I can't believe it's Friday already...this week has just flown by for me. So here are the details for this week's challenge: Our sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps. The challenge starts Friday, July17th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, July 24th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And our theme for this week is to create something with embossing and/or distressing. Here is what I created using the Mixed Media digi from LBBS:

I have been taking mixed media class at Joys of Life Scrapbooking and am breaking out of my comfort zone and getting more creative! I created my background with the Dylusion Sprays and then did my heat embossing for the flowers, roses and leaves. Next I inked the butterfly in the center. Then I printed the digi on deli sheet paper and glued it on. The final step was stamping the sentiments.

I did something wrong putting the deli sheet on because you can still see the edges. In the class I took we didn't see any edges. So...when I go to my next class I'll have to find out what I did wrong and I will let you know the right product to use.
