Simply Saturday Update

So I previously posted this layout I did in a Close to My Heart class. I keep a binder with my finished layouts that are ready to use. And I finally put pictures on it!

We celebrated my niece's birthday (a little late...) and Easter together one year.

Fun~day Friday #155

Our team this week is Team B. Our sponsor this week are Little Blue Button Stamps and Bugaboo. And our theme this week is a 321 Challenge - 3 colors, 2 embellishments, and 1 technique.

The challenge starts today, Friday, September 9th at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, September 16th at 6:00 PM (eastern time). And here is what I created using Bugaboo's Fried Chicken.

I colored it in using my COPICs and used yellow, orange, and blue for my three colors. My two embellishments are the bling on the title, and the one technique is the glossy accents on the glasses and sun.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for Midnight too! I need to give my little boy equal time :)  He is 11 years old and has brought me sooo much joy and love over the years. I know giving thanks for him is a "repeat" but he has been amazing with Jemma!

Good Dog

Here's two layouts I put together of my dog recently.

On Pinterest I saw the idea for putting a few treats in a muffin tin then putting the balls in each spot...and oh he absolutely loves this game! Midnight is very food focused so he is ready for anything to do with treats...lol! I still have to try this with Jemma.

And he sat every day with my mom while she ate in her chair. She said she always saved him the last bite...then it became the last 3 bites...then I would see her giving him something at the beginning of a meal. He was her eating partner. And yes, he has lost a few pounds since she has passed.

Simply Saturday

Here is a quick layout I did using an overlay. I just love the saying on it "With God all things are possible."...which is so very true!! He can make the impossible very possible :)  The pictures are from the 150 Central Concert we had at our church last year. They are a local praise and worship band. The pictures aren't that great, but the concert was awesome so I still wanted to scrapboook the page.

The challenge starts today, Friday, September 2nd at 12:00 AM (eastern time) and ends Friday, September 9th at 6:00 PM (eastern time)...yikes I can't believe it's September already!! And here is what I created using Xmas Room 1.

I colored it in using my COPICs and added some stickles for some sparkle. The paper is retired CM paper. I add my holiday cards to my scrapbook album and like to do a cover page for the cards...so this is it. I hope you like it. It was really a lot of fun to color in.

Thankful Thursday

I just realized I have been a slacker...I haven't been getting my Thankful Thursday posts up...so sorry!

I am thankful for my new puppy, Jemma. Life has been crazy the past few weeks but I wouldn't trade it for anything :)  She is really a delight and so much fun and her and Midnight get along so well. She has brought a lot of joy to my life, and I think Midnight's life too!
